Bouldering 101 is a 4-week course designed for adults who want to explore the fundamentals of bouldering in a supportive, skills-based environment. Unlike roped climbing, bouldering is done on shorter walls with padded flooring—no harness or belay partner needed—making it one of the most accessible and fast-paced forms of climbing.
Each week, you’ll focus on a new skill, including body positioning, footwork, route reading, and fall technique. Our certified Climbing Wall Instructors will lead you through hands-on drills, problem-solving challenges, and guided discussion to help you build strength and confidence.
What you’ll learn:
Efficient movement and body awareness
Common bouldering hold types and techniques
How to read routes ("problems") effectively
How to fall safely and minimize injury
Your registration includes a complimentary gym membership for the duration of the course, so you can continue practicing outside of class time.
