Adventure Rock Route Setting Camp
Join us for a weeklong immersive experience in the art and science of indoor climbing route setting. Designed for passionate high school aged climbers, this hands-on camp runs Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m., and covers everything from setting fundamentals and movement theory to forerunning and feedback. With a max of 8 participants per session, each camper receives personalized instruction and ample time to develop their skills.

Participants should have 2 years of climbing experience in an organized climbing team such as qualifying USAC climbing teams, or WHSCL climbing Teams. Climbers without Team experience can reach out to the Director of Setting, Tony Brengosz at Tony@adventurerock.com to discuss their qualifying experiences. 

What: 
  • Week-long camp for high school students to learn the fundamentals of setting routes in a climbing gym 
  • $425/ea. 
When:

Monday – Friday, 9 a.m.– 4 p.m. 

  • Session 1: June 22nd–26th  
  • Session 2: July 13th – 17th 
  • Session 3: August 10th – 14th 
Who: 
  • Maximum 8 participants per session 
  • Juniors/Seniors ages 16–18 (and 14 – 15 with prior approval)  
  • Participants should have two years of experience in organized climbing teams.
